An education from VES - Newport High School

Newport High School is the first Secondary School in Wales to have achieved an
environmental rating of ‘excellent’.

With a building based on student friendly design, including glassed walled offices to allow constant effective observation, all of their facilities and design features support learning and help students achieve their potential.

Newport High School was a centrepiece project for a community project. A brand-new community school and sports centre was built from scratch on the existing site.

VES provided the ventilation system for the project installing heat recovery plate heat exchangers, twin fans and roof extract fans, including Skypods.

All of the equipment fitted was created to be noise sensitive due to the fact that it was classroom application so as not to be a distraction to both teachers and pupils.
