VES Department Focus - Specialist Site Services
The Specialist Site Services division of VES helps customers with a broad pallette of site assistance options. These include; flat-packing and re-assembling our wide range of ventilation equipment, refurbishing old and tired air-handling/packaged air-conditioning equipment (made by any manufacturer), solving noise issues from HVAC plant, plus providing a full package of solutions for kitchen ventilation problems, including kitchen canopies.
They are often called in to look at problem jobs and can offer a range of solutions. These include many swimming pool and process applications, where HVAC system design experience is a useful skill.
Staff working in Specialist Site Services typically provide the following HVAC expertise;
- Air-handling units and ventilation equipment, including being able to make fan selections and knowledge of the various types of commercial fans.
- Packaged air-conditioning equipment.
- Ductwork design and installation.
- Kitchen ventilation including canopies.
- Design of air-conditioning and HVAC systems.
- Taking accurate measurements.
- Measuring air volumes/commissioning.
- HVAC control systems.
- Retail ventilation and air-conditioning systems.
