The VES Challenge 2010

VES, the major manufacturer and supplier of ventilation products and services has recently re-launched its Golf tournament, the VES Challenge. This annual, invitation only event brings consultants and contractors together to compete at a prestigious golf venue, for the VES Challenge Cup. This is a way of saying ‘Thank You’ to key customers and enhancing those relationships. The chosen venue was the Brabazon course at the famous Belfry, headquarters for the PGA and spiritual home of the Ryder Cup.

 

The predictably unpredictable UK weather meant that the sun shone and the rain held off, providing perfect golfing conditions. Closest to the pin and longest drive competitions added extra spice to a great day of golf. A bar, dinner and entertainment with team, individual and spot prizes made the perfect conclusion to the day.

 

The winner of the individual prize was Rodney Clarke of Dodds Ltd, who was also a member of the winning team, along with John Peters, Managing Director of VES, Tony Wilkinson of HVM and Laurie Taylor of RPS Gregory. The Longest Drive and Nearest the Pin prizes went to Neil Harding of J&B Hopkins and John Taylor of Scott Wilson respectively.

 

Key VES customers are invited to the VES Challenge, with places limited to ensure a special day for all.  It is important to register any interest early. Should you wish to participate in the 2011 tournament you should contact your local VES Representative.
