VES Andover Ltd is as family run manufacturing company concerned with the design, manufacture and supply of heating, ventilation and air handling units.  We have installed our products in buildings across the UK from palaces to prisons.

We currently have the following vacancies:

Specialist Site Services Sales Engineer – Chandlers Ford

This role is to assist the SSS Sales Executive at the Chandlers Ford offices and to produce accurate quotations, undertake site surveys around the Southern half of Great Britain & obtain profitable business for the company whilst assist the department in it’s future expansion plans.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience selling HVAC products, a working knowledge of Quality systems and a demonstrable track record in meeting sales targets as well as the ability to undertake basic ventilation system designs, or to demonstrate the ability to quickly learn from training given.

This position offers an attractive salary plus commission as well as a car.

Marketing Co-coordinator

To assist the Marketing Director with a wide range of computer based and practical activities.

• Updating website and buy on line details.
• Preparing marketing material.
• Organising trade show stands.
• Supplier negotiations for special purchases.
• Writing and issuing press releases.
• Compiling statistics.
• Market research

The applicant must have an excellent command of the English language, be able to work on their own initiative, be commercially aware, and able to meet deadlines.

The ability to design promotional material is an important part of the role.
Ideally the applicant will have a marketing degree.

Technical Administrator – Chandlers Ford

This role would suit an organised, enthusiastic individual to provide support for the site engineers.  Duties will include checking all project files, order acknowledgments and customer orders for accuracy, checking accuracy of entries on the VES database, entering project details onto the Company’s central database.

This would suit someone with some administration experience who is keen to advance his or her career.  The Company offers opportunities to those with an eye for detail and adaptability.

Assembly Worker – Chandlers Ford

Working on our shop floor, you will be required to assemble VES products according to the relevant drawings and QA standards.

A forklift truck license would be an advantage but is not essential.

Applicants for this position will be required to work shifts to cover the hours of 06:00 – 10:00 for which a shift allowance will be paid. 

Trainee HVAC Sales Engineer – Chandlers Ford

Based in our Specialist Site Services department, you will be required to learn our product and service range and prepare quotations for customers. The post holder will assist with technical queried relating to work carried out by Site Services and be responsible for the satisfactory resolution of customer problems.  You will be required to liase with the regional sales engineers.  The role may also include occasional visits to sites around the UK.

The ideal candidate will have some sales experience.  Prior knowledge of HVAC products would be an advantage but not essential.  You will be fully IT literate and possess an ability to learn quickly.  A professional attitude is essential for this customer-facing role, as is the ability to meet deadlines and targets.

HVAC Sales Engineer – Chandlers Ford

The key purpose in this role is to expand our client base in the UK Construction industry by working to sales targets set by the Managing Director.  You will maintain good customer relations with our existing customers and provide a high standard of service.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience selling HVAC products, a working knowledge of Quality systems and a demonstrable track record in meeting sales targets.

Post Installation Electrical Engineer – Chandlers Ford

The post holder will be responsible for carrying out post installation checks and fault finding  involving VES controls and air handling units.  The ideal candidate will be 16th Edition IEE Regs qualified, have an understanding of control systems, motor wiring diagrams and the ability to work on their own initiative.

Customer Sales Advisor - Chandlers Ford

The role of the Sales Engineer is to deal with VES customer enquiries and queries either by phone, fax, letter or electronically, to produce quotations in order to obtain profitable business for the Company.  This will be achieved by the following.  Experience and/or knowledge of air handling units would be an advantage but full training in our product range will be provided.

The ideal candidate will have a good telephone manner, ability to meet deadlines and targets and be IT literate.  A high standard of numeracy and literacy is essential.

Sheet Metal Machine Operators - Eastleigh

We also require sheet metal assembly operatives. This is a varied role that requires good attention to detail. Previous experience in the manufacture of ventilation equipment an advantage but training available for suitable applicants with experience of working to drawings & using pneumatic hand tools & basic machinery.

The successful candidate for this position will be required to work a 3 shift system over 24 hours for which a shift allowance will be paid.
